The Garage Monster Sale

‘The Garage Monster Sale’ is the story of old Mr Gunder who is moving away and needs to find a new home for his garage monster. (As you probably already know, all homes have a friendly garage monster – it’s why Dads spend so much time out there!) However, finding a buyer for both his house and his monster is trickier than he expected as everyone sees them as old and obsolete, so the man and his monster come up with a plan to prove their worth to everyone…

In collaboration with the wonderfully talented Melbourne artist Justine McAllister, The Garage Monster Sale is a story that celebrates - rather than looks to discard - the worn out, the broken down and the old fashioned. Our book endeavours to promote inclusiveness and acceptance and is filled with images that are imbued with humour and heart.
